How will I know if I have been selected to move forward with the application?

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to check your status. If you’ve been selected for an interview, we’ll email you to schedule next steps.

Will you tell me when a role has been filled?

We aren’t  able to notify you when the role has been filled. However, if you send an email, we'll let you know that the position is no longer available.

Do you have internship roles available?

We accept interns. If a position does become available, it’ll be posted here or in our LinkedIn.

Do you have opportunities for new graduates?

We accept fresh grads. If a position does become available, it’ll be posted here or in our LinkedIn.

Do you offer remote positions?

As we’re just starting out, we prefer candidates who can work on-site at our HQ in Jakarta. However, as we prioritize results, we may agree to flexible/hybrid formats in certain cases. 

What can I expect during the interview process?

At From This Island, we have a structured way to hire people. We make sure to ask everyone the same questions and let everyone go through the same case studies for the position so it's fair. We look at what you’re good at and think about how well you match with what's important to us. Before you come in, check out what we value and tell us what matters to you too.

I’m interested in a role, but I don’t check off all the qualifications. Should I still apply?

Yes, if you’re interested in one of the roles on our team, check out the 6-month and 12-month expectations in the job description. If this seems reasonable given your skillset and previous experience, please make sure to bring it up during our conversations with you!
